Rugby Stars Prepare For Charity Fixture

Later this year at the Twickenham Stoop, a host of celebrities, including former rugby union internationals, will gather in west London for the annual Rugby Aid match.

In a preview of this game a British Army side provided the opposition in Worcester.

The Rugby Aid side included Fiji and former British Army star Apo Satala, Henri Paul and Warriors’ record appearance-maker Craig Gillies.

The well known faces faced an army masters side who were preparing for their inter-services campaign which will culminate at Kneller Hall at the end of April.

All money raised at this charity match will go towards forces charity Rugby for Heroes.

The Gloucester based charity embraces the power of rugby in helping armed forces personnel transition from military to civilian life.
