Shoreham Air Crash Pilot Interviewed By Police
The pilot of the aircraft involved in the Shoreham air disaster has been interviewed by police.

Andrew Hill, 51, from Hertfordshire, was questioned by officers from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team in connection with the accident which killed 11 people on August 22.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Officers from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team have interviewed a 51-year-old man from Hertfordshire in connection with the (Hawker) Hunter jet that crashed on to the A27 at Shoreham in August, killing 11 people.

"The man voluntarily attended an appointment with detectives at a police station in Hertfordshire on Thursday (December 17) and was interviewed under caution, but not arrested."
Mr Hill, who was thrown clear from his plane, was in a critical condition following the crash but was discharged from hospital in September.

The cause of the accident in which the Hawker Hunter jet crashed on to the A27 during Shoreham Air Show is being probed by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB).
