WATCH: RAF Uses Brimstone Missiles In Syria For First Time

The Ministry of Defence has released pictures of the first RAF fighter jets to use Brimstone missiles in Syria.

The airstrikes, which took place on Sunday, are reported to have hit a vehicle and a number of mobile cranes around the Omar oilfield in the east of the country, close to the border with Iraq.

The MoD says IS had brought the cranes in to try to repair damage inflicted by previous coalition airstrikes.

MPs in the House of Commons voted to extend airstrikes to Syria last month.
