Army Rising Shooting Star Aiming For World Championship Glory
Following his medal-winning joy at the Commonwealth Games, the Army's Sam Gowin is now targeting success at the World Championships.
The shooting star Sam Gowin is still glowing from his bronze medal-winning performance at the Commonwealth Games.
April’s achievement left the Royal Artillery Sergeant stunned especially as at the start of the year he was not even in the England team.

The performance on the Gold Coast propelled Sam into the shooting spotlight.
He has now been selected to shoot for Great Britain at September’s World Championships in South Korea.
Outside of the Olympic Games, it is the major event in a competitor’s career.
Sam will compete for GB in the 25-metre rapid fire pistol event and remains focused on his ultimate target of competing at the Tokyo Olympics.
In the meantime, his sights are set on performing well at the World Championships which take place in Changwon early next month.
