Army Women Maintain 100% Record In Inter-Services Championship
In the opening game of the 2018 Inter-Services Championship, the RAF's rugby stars had possibly their best chance yet to overturn the Army women's dominance.
The score was 0-0 at half-time at RAF Halton - but it wasn't for lack of trying.
The story was a mixture of RAF persistence and Army defence, as both sides exchanged big hits.
Although the light blues had possession and territory, they couldn't convert it into points.
The Air Force also missed or didn't go for a couple of opportunities to kick for goal and chose instead to go for the line.
However, the Army's defence proved impenetrable.

After half-time, the stalemate continued up until centre Corporal Louise Dodd scored out wide on the right to give the Army a five-point lead.
Five minutes later, Dodd was over the line again – showing the form she's displayed at club side Wasps.

Cpl Dodd said of the match: "From a season of playing internationals our defence is so strong and we just knew that we could just hold out.
"Having them on our try line for maybe 20 minutes and them not scoring just gave us masses of belief.
"And then when we came out for half time, we just knew that was our time to attack and it happened."
Dodd's efforts gave the Army a 10-0 win, ensuring the side's 100% Inter-Services record.

But the RAF's captain, Flight Lieutenant Chrissy Siczowa, said she was really proud of everything the team had achieved this season, especially this effort.
Speaking after the match, she said:
"It's a measure of where we've come from in the last few years. The Army don't celebrate a win like that and that meant something to them so we'll take that away."
The RAF will play the Royal Navy next week at the Twickenham Stoop.
