1 LANCS dominate War of the Roses Army boxing final to win the title
1st Battalion The Duke Of Lancaster's Regiment's boxing team have been crowned Army champions after a dominant night in Aldershot.
They faced 1st Battalion Royal Yorkshire Regiment in a War of the Roses battle but it was 1 LANCS who were sharper from the very start.
They won the first seven fights of the evening for an unassailable lead and take the trophy back home to Cyprus.

It was a sweet turn of events for 1 LANCS, who were bitterly disappointed to lose the 2023 final to 2nd Battalion Parachute Regiment.
The highlight of the night was the powerful performance from Kingsman Alfie Evans who beat Private Robbie Chapman by a technical knock-out.
In the eighth bout of the night, a controversial moment came when Kingsman Kiniviliams Rokotagane looked to have won by TKO but was found to have punched after the referee had stopped the fight so was disqualified to give 1 R YORKS their first win of the night.
Lance Corporal Lloyd Kinnersley also won the last fight of the night for 1 R YORKS by split decision.
