
Kyle Shaw-Tullin wins gold in Hungary as Army star Niamh Brookes claims bronze

Royal Marine Commando Kyle Shaw-Tullin has won gold for England at the 70th Bocskai Istvan International tournament in Debrecen, Hungary, defeating home favourite Kalman Hanko in the final.
Boxing in the 75kg middleweight category, Mne Shaw-Tullin took the win over his Hungarian opponent by a unanimous points decision.
This win continues an excellent international record for the Royal Marine, who is now part of the GB Boxing team as he sets his sights on the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
Boxing at the same competition, Army boxer Lance Corporal Niamh Brookes competed for Wales in the 51kg flyweight category.
The REME boxer was defeated in the semi-final by French Olympian and world medalist Wassila Lkhadiri, but later came back to win bronze for Wales.
Both Mne Shaw-Tullin and LCpl Brookes are targeting spots for their respective nations for the this summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
