Emilee Steele hits impressive half-century as RAF fall to MCC losses in T20 double

Emilee Steele's big hitting was the RAF's bright spark as they pushed Marylebone Cricket Club all in the way in two T20 defeats.
Steele was appointed captain of the Air Force for this season and has repaid the selectors' faith with two half-centuries so far.
Her first came in a 66-run haul against Hitchin in May and she continued that form against the MCC at Vine Lane.

She opened the batting for the RAF hitting 54 runs from 52 balls before Army star Connie Cant, playing for the MCC, took a catch from Enakshi Rajvanshi's delivery to end Steele's innings.
Aimee Jepson added her 28 runs as the RAF ended their innings on 125-7, but the MCC blasted through that total in 18 overs. Cant was amongst five batters into double figures as the MCC picked up a six-wicket win.
The second match of the day also saw the MCC pick up the win by 22 runs as Cant picked up one wicket and two catches for the visiting side. The fixtures provided perfect preparation for the RAF's Inter Services matches against the Royal Navy and British Army at Arundel on Thursday.
