Royal Air Force beats Army to end nine-year Inter Services cricket drought

Watch: The Royal Air Force ends nine-year Inter Services drought.

The Royal Air Force have been crowned men's 50 overs Inter Services Cricket champions for the first time since 2014 as the light blues beat the Army in the deciding game.

The airmen enjoyed a five-wicket Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) win in a rain-affected fixture in Portsmouth where rainfall forced a two-and-a-half-hour delay to the conclusion of the game.

The Army were all out for 161 with the Air Force winning with 131/5 with a revised target of 130 from 39.0 overs.
