UK Armed Forces women's cricket team win at Lords for the second time

The UK Armed Forces women’s cricket team have taken their second victory at Lord's Cricket Ground, beating Marylebone Cricket Club in a thrilling T20 match. 

Despite a forecast for rain, the weather remained kind to the players as UKAF stormed to 98-1 for the win.

MCC, batting first, had a slow start but set UKAF a target of 97-5.

After some impressive wickets, UKAF started well with their strikers showing signs of easily catching MCC's total.

Lieutenant Georgina Dean impressed with her batting skills, hitting 44 runs from 38 deliveries.

UKAF began to slowly build on their score before Lt Dean hit four runs to seal UKAF's 98-1 victory in just 13.4 overs. 

With only their second time playing at the Home of English Cricket, the UKAF women's team remains unbeaten at Lords.
