Unstoppable champion Charlotte Pudge retains services showjumping title
British Army superstar showjumper Lance Bombardier Charlotte Pudge has retained the 2025 services championship with a dominant display in the final on her horse Dreamer.
LBdr Pudge kicked off the show with a clear, quick run in the first round and delivered the same result in the jump-off to win the title as the only performer to get double clear rounds.
It was an Army double as Major Ralph Pottie on Super Mario finished in second after a first clear round and speedy second showing with four penalties, while PC Megan Jeffery recovered brilliantly from a tough first run to have a clear second round and finish in third.

The Royal Navy had two performers in the final for the first time, but their Sportswoman of the Year for 2025, Chief Petty Officer Amy Taylor, struggled on her inexperienced horse True Cavalier II as they finished their first year together without a clear round and 12 penalty points, while Lieutenant Katie McManus managed a fourth place after a disappointing second run gave her eight penalty points.
Air Specialist Class 1 Sophie Richards, on Sweet Banks Royal, was tipped as a real challenger to LBdr Pudge, but the RAF rider struggled with one particular fence on both runs and ended with eight penalty points.
Wing Commander Sarah Boon on Tango finished with 12 penalty points, as did PC Laura Hughes on Pembrook Hollywood, despite a clear first round.
