Dominant RAF show class against Army to win sixth consecutive Inter Services women's title
The RAF women's football team have won a sixth consecutive title after a 3-0 win against the British Army.
Following their 2-1 win against the Royal Navy in Lincoln, the Air Force knew another win would see them retain their trophy.
Goals from Lucy Farrow, Jeorgia Carr and Abi Hayes saw the team in light blue cruise to the title.

For the first 30 minutes, the Army were more than a match for the champions but, as with all good teams, it took just a moment to change the game. A poor back-pass from the Army was surged upon by the pacy Farrow, and she rounded the goalkeeper to make it 1-0.
From there, the RAF blitzed into a comfortable lead. Carr hit the crossbar and was denied by a good save, but eventually, she got her goal. It was a strike of real quality too, as some clever footwork created the opportunity for a low left-footed effort into the bottom corner.
In the second half, the RAF grabbed a third, and it was brilliant work from Carr to release the marauding full-back Hayes. The defender, who also scored against the Navy, made it two goals in two games with a tidy finish.
