Queen's Gurkha Signals retain Nepal Cup by beating Queen's Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment
The Queen's Gurkha Signals have retained the Nepal Cup after a 2-0 win over Queen's Own Gurkha Logistic Regiment in the final.
Played on a testing pitch at Queen's Avenue in Aldershot, a tense first half saw both teams go in to the break level at 0-0.
However, goals from Dipendra Shrestha and Dhiraj Rai gave QGS victory for the second year in a row.

The opening goal was a long time coming and a scruffy finish meant QGS had the lead. Rai's free-kick should have been grasped by the QOGLR goalkeeper, but he fumbled the ball and Shrestha was quick to tap in from close range.
It should have been made safe late on from the penalty spot but QGS captain Prasant Tamang missed from 12 yards.
Ultimately, the win would be secured though as Rai converted on the counter attack to spark wild QGS celebrations.
