RAF Leeming wins commanding victory to book place in RAF Cup final

Watch: RAF Leeming and RAF Cosford play in the RAF Challenge Cup semi-final

RAF Leeming have booked their place in the final of the RAF Challenge Cup after a commanding 4-0 win over RAF Cosford at Leek Town FC.

RAF Leeming hit their opponents with a tap-in by George McCowie in the very first minute, giving the North Yorkshire-based side an early 1-0 lead.

McCowie came through again for RAF Leeming extending his team's lead by 2-0 before half time.

The second half was very much a continuation of what happened in the first half, with RAF Leeming running riot over their RAF Cosford opponents.

Andrew Home and Mark White scored two goals early in the second half within the space of a couple of minutes, putting RAF Leeming out of reach for RAF Cosford.

With a 4-0 win, RAF Leeming will now head to the final where they'll face RAF Brize Norton, who defeated reigning cup holders RAF Boulmer last week.

The RAF Challenge Cup final will take place at Leek Town FC on 15 May.
