RAF secure winning start to season as new era begins with 3-0 victory over Walsall

The RAF have started their 2024/25 season with a thumping 3-0 win over Walsall at RAF Cosford.

In the first game of new head coach Flight Sergeant Michelle Perkins' second spell in charge, Lucy Farrow shone with two goals on a wet night in Wolverhampton.

Eden Marsh opened the scoring with a well-taken turn and finish before Farrow's double sealed the win.

The match marked the end of trials week for the team with a number of new faces getting the chance to impress while experienced players like Cat Beaver, Abigail Hayes and Mollie Lambert put their stamp on the contest.
