Royal Engineers and Royal Logistic Corps claim men's and women's titles at Inter Corps Championships
Army hockey players are gearing up for November's Inter Services Indoor Hockey Championships with their annual Inter Corps championships in Aldershot.
The men's final saw the Royal Engineers beat the Royal Logistic Corps 7-2 with the sappers putting on a strong second-half performance to overwhelm their RLC opponents in the round-robin fixture.
The Royal Engineers win the Army Inter Corps title after an impressive undefeated campaign.
The women's title went down to the wire with the RLC going head to head with the Royal Signals.
The RLC gained the early advantage with a goal by May Percival before teammate Kat Smith put the RLC 2-0 up in the first half.
In the second half, team captain and Army Masters player Lucy Butler extended RLC's lead with a third goal to give them a commanding 3-1 win against the Royal Signals.
The Inter Services Indoor Hockey Championships will take place in Aldershot from 7-9 November.
