Injured British Veterans Win Silver Medals in St Moritz

Former Army Lance Corporal Corie Mapp has finished second in the Para Bobsleigh World Cup series.

Mapp made history recently by winning the first ever Para-bob gold in Austria but couldn't quite follow that up in the final event of the season.

He was injured in 2010 by an IED blast in Afghanistan and lost both of his legs below the knee. Since then he's tried his hand at various sports but says he's found his niche in bobsleigh.

Cath Brazier reports from St Moritz in Switzerland.

Great Britain's Matt Richardson, meanwhile, has taken silver in the inaugural para-skeleton World Cup series, missing out on the season's top place by 0.01 of a second.

The former Lance Bombardier shattered both his feet when he was struck by a land mine whilst on patrol in Afghanistan in 2008.

Introduced to skeleton by Help for Heroes, he's been on the ice ever since.

Cath caught up with him ahead of the third and final race of the season.
