Long-standing rivalries provide thrilling action at RAF squash championships
Squash players from across the Royal Air Forces have competed at the annual RAF Squash Championships as they prepare for an upcoming battle at the Inter Services.
Issues regarding competitive turnout didn't dampen the title races of three very competitive finals in the under-25s, women's and open finals in Wolverhampton.
In the U25 category, RAF Odiham's Louis Cameron beat Joshua Franklin by winning three straight games to take the title.
The women's title was won by Lucy Corrigan, who used her experience to best long-standing rival Chrissie Miller to retain her title.
In the men's open, Isle of Man international Oscar Hill and experienced RAF squash veteran Paul Warner have traded wins over the last few years.
But it was Hill who took home the trophy winning by three games to two.
In attendance was Air Vice Marshall Richard Hill, the President of RAF Squash, who was on trophy presentation duties.
The RAF's attention now turns to the Inter Services in March where the RAF are looking to get revenge for recent losses.
