Navy Cup Final 2020: HMS Seahawk Win After Penalty Shootout
HMS Seahawk have won the Royal Navy Cup after a thrilling penalty shootout victory over HMS Heron.
The delayed conclusion to the season's competition lived up to the billing with a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes.
HMS Seahawk won the trophy after winning 4-2 on penalties, with George McVey scoring the decisive kick.
HMS Seahawk, who lost in last year's final, dominated the opening period of the match.
After just 10 minutes, they were in front thanks to a stunning goal from Fabian Verilli.
Matt Vickers was brought down 40 yards out from goal but Verilli shocked everyone when he went for the shot and beat the keeper.
Just before half-time, HMS Heron scored an equaliser which again showed great quality.
Mickey Palmer's pass was knocked on by Shaun Andrews and, after a quick look, striker Ant Carlisle deftly lobbed the goalkeeper with a volley.

A stunning equalising goal, but HMS Seahawk were eager to match that effort in the second half.
Dan Quirke had a goal chalked off for offside but another brilliant goal put them back in front.
Ricky Shivlock chipped the goalkeeper, in a similar fashion to Carlisle earlier, to put HMS Seahawk on course for victory.
The game had started to peter out until HMS Heron's Owen Aquilina equalised with just five minutes to go after some nice link-up play with Carlisle.
Aquilina started the move after bursting forward and finding Carlisle out wide, who then played the ball across the box for Aquilina to tuck home.
The game finished 2-2 and it was down to penalties.
HMS Heron missed twice through Carlisle and Palmer, while HMS Seahawk converted all of their kicks, including an effort from their keeper, to win the shootout 4-2 and lift the cup.
