British Army v RAF Challenge Cup clash is postponed because of frozen pitch
Today's crunch Challenge Cup first-round match between the British Army and the Royal Air Force has been called off due to a frozen pitch.
The decision was made minutes before the scheduled kick-off time to give the pitch as much of a chance as possible, but the referee and the two team captains felt it would be unsafe to play on the surface.
It's expected that the match will be rearranged for next weekend.

It follows several postponements in the first round of the competition due to the cold conditions.
That includes the Royal Navy's trip to Mirfield which was postponed earlier this week.
