RAF and Army rugby league teams gain winning momentum ahead of Inter Services

It's been a successful few days of action for military rugby league teams on the pitch.
The RAF men's and women's rugby league team are in Spain on an overseas visit and took on local opposition.
Grace Burnett inspired the women's team to a 30-10 victory over Madrid Osos with an impressive hat-trick as Kate Allen (2) and Frankie O'Connell added the other tries.

The men's team took on Xativa Roosters and were cruising to a big victory at 48-0 up after 35 minutes, when the game was stopped and abandoned due to serious injury suffered by a local player.
Elsewhere, the Army women kicked off the defence of their RFL Southern Championship crown with a big win away to Brentwood Eeels. The military side put in a dominant performance to win 76-6 and face North Herts Crusaders at Hitchin RFC this weekend.
All three teams will hope to continue their winning ways into this year's Inter Services which begins in September.
