HMS Nelson have won the 2026 Royal Navy hockey cup at HMS Temeraire.

In what was labelled a 'dockyard derby', Nelson beat HMS Drake 2-0 to take the crown in Portsmouth.

RNAS Culdrose sealed third place after beating HMS Collingwood in a comfortable 3-0 scoreline.

The next Navy hockey to enjoy comes in September when unit teams take to the pitch for competition in the East and West regional indoor tournaments.

Elsewhere, players from the Navy were involved as the UK Armed Forces women's team beat the Dutch Armed Forces in Aldershot.
