Yorkshire Prose performs at Royal Navy Sports Awards after Team of the Year accolade
The Royal Navy rugby league team celebrated their Team of the Year accolade at the Navy Sports Awards with a performance from their captain Ben Taylor AKA the Yorkshire Prose.
Taylor is known for his viral performances with his creative poems for the relevant ocassion.
He recently gave the England team a pep talk ahead of the Rugby League World Cup and had something special planned for the Navy Sports Awards.

"I skipper Royal Navy Rugby League and we have every reason to cheer," he started.
"Because after a champion campaign, we're now Royal Navy team of the year."
He later spoke about the Navy's 2022 accomplishments including beating the Army in two separate senior matches and having an historic run in the Challenge Cup.
He summed up his feelings about participating in sport, saying: "Sport. It is more than what happens on the field, on the court or in the ring or wherever.
"It's forging friendships that last for a lifetime and making memories that last forever.
"Obviously, I'm a proud Yorkshire man. Instead of blood in my veins, I've got gravy. I was born back in Wakefield but I was made in the Royal Navy."
