Royal Navy U23s inflict heaviest ever defeat on Army to win Inter Services title

Watch: Royal Navy U23s inflict heaviest ever defeat on the Army to win Inter Services title.

The Royal Navy have won the U23s Inter Services title after one of the most shocking results in military rugby history.

After beating the RAF in their opening match, the Navy knew a win in Aldershot would seal the championship.

However, nobody expected the Navy to score seven tries as they inflicted a 44-3 heavy defeat on their Army rivals.

It's the biggest Navy win ever against the Army at any level and provides a clear message for the future of service rugby with the Navy's talent shining through.

Try scorers for the Navy included Lucas Cann, Jack Wright (2), Charlie Penrose-Toms, Freddie Elliott, Ryan Scott and Charlie Davies.

The Army's only points came from a penalty.
