British Army men's rugby beat Coventry XV as Inter Service preparations ramp up

The British Army men's rugby union team have continued their Inter Service preparations with an impressive win against a Coventry XV.
The Army turned up to Butts Park Arena hoping to nail down the tactical plans that they'll take to their RAF and Navy clashes in 2026, and a 44-26 win was the perfect night for Lieutenant Colonel Tim Osman's team.
The men in red ran in eight tries against a Coventry team that fielded a number of younger and fringe players.

A first-half blast from the Army attack swept Coventry away as tries from Pete Austin, Onisivoro Nayagi, Semi Tokaduadua and Jamie Diamond put them 24-7 ahead at the break.
Tomasi Vula added two more tries in the second half before Tagatu scored a brace to finish off the win. The Army still have key matches to play before the Inter Service matches as they take on the French Army in a Le Crunch clash on 25 March.
