RAF lose 80th anniversary Le Crunch rugby union clash against French Air Force

Watch: Action from the 2024 Le Crunch fixture between the RAF and French Air Force.

The RAF have suffered defeat in the 80th anniversary Le Crunch match against the French Air Force at Saracens.

The French team had lost their last four away fixtures in this event, but came from behind to take home an impressive victory by 30-22.

The RAF showed their scoring prowess during the match with a try from Toby Evans and the consistent kicking of Jordan Oatley.

This was the biggest match of the Air Force's pre-season ahead of Inter Services clashes against the Navy in Plymouth and the Army in Gloucester.

The 2024 Inter Services season kicked off last week with a launch event at Twickenham Stadium featuring all service head coaches and captains.
