The RAF have been represented on a British and Irish Lions tour for the first time since Rory Underwood played in New Zealand in 1993.

Jamie Hillman is a former RAF Warrant Officer who now serves with the RAF Reserves and has been announced as the Lions' kitman for the games in Australia.

Hillman has become an integral part of the England backroom staff, and that has led to his inclusion in the Lions team.

It's the pinnacle of a superb journey for Hillman, who previously held kitman roles with the RAF men's team and UK Armed Forces teams during his military career.

The British and Irish Lions kickstart tour preparation with a clash against Argentina at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, on Friday and their first match against Australia comes on 19 July at the Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
