Royal Navy men's rugby union team succeed in tough test against Oxford University

The Royal Navy men's rugby union team have overcome difficult opposition in a 40-36 win over Oxford University.
The forces team travelled to Iffley Road knowing that Oxford would provide a stern test, but they rose to the challenge in the first half to lead 28-19 at the break.
The second half saw Oxford roar back into the game, but the Navy held on to win by four points.

Try-scorers for the Navy included Jay Toogood (2), Alex O'Brien, Ben Mallett, Robbie Hume and Kane Teear-Bourge.
The Navy still have to play important matches against Plymouth Albion, British Police and the French Marine Nationale in a packed pre-season schedule before their Inter Service clashes.
