Historic WW2 Seafire fighter plane returns to the skies

A historic aircraft, the Supermarine Seafire Mk XVII, has taken to the skies over Yeovilton, the naval air station where fighter pilots trained for action during the Second World War.

Adapted to take off and land on aircraft carriers, the Seafire was the Royal Navy's version of the Spitfire. 

Seafire SX336 is the latest acquisition by Navy Wings, a charity that preserves the nation's historic naval aircraft.
