Princess Anne presents awards as submarines are decommissioned

Her Royal Highness Princess Anne has met the crews from HMS Talent and HMS Trenchant as the two submarines were decommissioned at Devonport naval base and she presented a variety of awards.

Talent completed her final patrol earlier in the spring, while Trenchant's operational career came to an end last year.

Both vessels served for 32 years as hunter-killer submarines, protecting the country's Strategic Nuclear Deterrent and detecting, tracking and classifying objects.
