Great Movie Action on BFBS TV

The great movies keep coming on BFBS TV. In the week commencing 25th November there's some real classics with some of the silver screen's greatest action heroes storming into action, plus a whole new generation of heroes...

On Wednesday, 29th November on BFBS Extra, there's a real treat in the form of American Sniper , an action thriller based on the real life of US Navy Seal Chris Kyle, who served four tours of duty in Iraq, but found the war hard to leave behind...

Moving right along, BFBS Extra presents Grosse Pointe Blank on Saturday 25th November, starring John Cusack and Minnie Driver. This black comedy follows the fortunes of a hit man who returns to his home town to carry out a murder and arrives just in time to find romance at his high school reunion. Business and pleasure, who says they don't mix!

On Saturday 25th November, Sylvester Stallone kicks-ass in Rambo: First Blood Part II on ITV. Our all-American war veteran Rambo takes on the entire Vietnamese army - plus Soviet advisers - when he is released from prison and is sent back to present-day Vietnam in search of American POWs still being held by the Communists...

Classic retro continues on Thursday, 30th November, on BFBS Extra as Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones keep alien visitors in their box and look after the best interests of humanity - Men in Black.

Anything Sly Sylvester can do, Arnie can do better - as he not only saves Mars, but Earth as well.  All in a day's work for Arnie in the in sci-fi thriller  Total Recall, ITV Friday 1st December.

Our final pick for this week, San Andreas, BFBS Extra on Thursday, 30th November. With California in the grip of an earthquake that is engulfing the entire state, helicopter rescue pilot Ray Gaines springs into action to save his family. As the mayhem unfolds and entire cities are ripped apart, he teams up with his estranged wife Emma, and together they embark on a trip to San Francisco to find their teenage daughter... OK, so it's mushy, but hey, the effects are great.
