In a secure building in London, there is a special unit in the Met Police keeping London safe.
The Explosive Ordinance Disposal Unit, full of military veterans, is responsible for responding to all explosive-related incidents in London.
One role within the unit - explosive officer, or 'expo' - is a job reserved exclusively for former Army ammunition technicians or officers.
