Russian logistics hampered by Ukraine's destruction of bridges in Kursk, says MOD

Russian logistics in the Kursk region have been impacted by Ukrainian strikes against bridges and roads over the Seym river.
According to the MOD's latest intelligence update on the war in Ukraine, they report that a series of strikes into the territory have resulted in the destruction of road and pontoon bridges over the westward-flowing river in the Kursk Oblast.
It is believed this will hamper Russian logistics, at a time when counterattacks are being launched against the Ukrainian foothold in the region.
"Ukraine continue to hamper Russian logistics in the Kursk region in a series of strikes which destroyed road and pontoon bridges over the Seym river," said MOD.
The Seym River flows through Kursk Oblast in southwestern Russia.
Russia has reportedly been attempting to build new bridges over the river since Ukraine began targeting the old ones.

The lightning incursion into Kursk caught Russia off guard and boosted Ukraine's morale.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested that Russia would be at war with Nato if the West allows long-range weapons to be used inside its border.
Moscow has launched a series of counterattacks in the region; however, the size and strength of the offensive are unknown.
