Russian losses 'likely the highest' since the peak of the battle for Bakhmut

A Ministry of Defence intelligence report says that heavy fighting has continued in Ukraine.
The most intense combat has been seen in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, western Donetsk Oblast, and around Bakhmut.
Both sides are suffering high casualties, but the update says that Russian losses are likely the highest since the peak of the battle for Bakhmut in March.
Ukraine is continuing to pursue offensive operations and is making small advances.
Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesperson for the Odesa military administration, has said that Ukraine has also destroyed a "significant" ammunition depot near the Russian-occupied port city of Henichesk in the southern region of Kherson.
Pictures of the alleged attack have been circulating online but have not been verified
The MOD has also released an additional report outlining how Russian forces have attacked civilians and critical national infrastructure in Ukraine.
It says that due to Russia’s continued attacks on Ukrainian civilian areas, more than 11 million people have been displaced.
Other statistics say 30% of Ukraine is covered in landmines, 277 schools have been destroyed and therehave been over 700 attacks on medical facilities and medical personnel since the war began.
The MOD paper, titled "Putin’s War Is Built On Lies" says that despite the Kremlin saying at the start of the war that civilians will not be targeted, it has claimed 8766 civilian casualties so far.
