Zelensky inspects the Guards with the King ahead of talks to help guard Ukraine

President Zelenksy was offered a rare chance to inspect 1st Battalion The Grenadier Guards alongside the King at Windsor Castle, before heading to London for a meeting of the Coalition of Willing.
European leaders are communing in London for talks which aim to ramp up pressure on Russia heading into winter.
The Coalition of the Willing was set up to strengthen Ukraine's defences and provide security guarantees in the event of a ceasefire.
King Charles hosts President Zelensky
Following Ukraine's national anthem, president Zelensky inspected the Guards alongside the King before a private meeting inside Windsor Castle.
It is the third time the pair have met this year and Mr Zelensky's second visit to Windsor Castle in 2025. In March, the King also hosted the president at Sandringham House in Norfolk.
In February 2024, on the second anniversary of the conflict, the King published a statement referencing the "indescribable aggression" the Ukrainians were facing.
Meeting the Prime Minister
Following his meeting with the King, Mr Zelensky travelled to Downing Street where he was welcomed by Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
Beforehand, Sir Keir announced the acceleration of a programme to deliver 140 lightweight multirole missiles (LMM) to Ukraine.
The programme is part of a £1.6bn deal between UK industry and Ukraine that was signed in March to provide more than 5,000 LMMs to support Ukraine’s defence.
The Prime Minister said: "From the battlefield to the global markets, as Putin continues to commit atrocities in Ukraine we must ratchet up the pressure on Russia and build on President Trump’s decisive action.
"What happens on the frontline of Donetsk today is shaping our collective future for years to come."
Coalition of the Willing
Long-range missile supply, energy sanctions and using Russian frozen assets are on the agenda for discussion among the Coalition of the Willing.
It follows the imposition of new sanctions by the US targeting Russia's two largest oil companies.
Russia's Foreign Ministry has described the measures as "counterproductive".
Earlier this week, the Ukrainian military revealed it had used British Storm Shadow cruise missiles to strike a chemical plant inside Russia that makes smokeless powder for ammunition and explosives.
The UK gave Ukraine permission to use its Storm Shadow missiles inside Russia last year.
On Thursday, a social media post from the Russian Foreign Ministry quoted president Putin as saying if long-range missiles are used to attack Russia "the response will be extremely serious".
