Exclusive: Prince Harry's personal letter to ex-Special Forces Everest record-breakers
Prince Harry has offered his congratulations to a team of veterans who completed a record-breaking Everest challenge.
Veterans Minister Al Carns, who is a former colonel in the Royal Marines, was joined by ex-Special Forces soldiers Kevin Godlington, Garth Miller and Anthony "Staz" Stazicker on a trek that took them from London to the world's tallest peak and back in just seven days.
The Duke of Sussex has expressed his admiration for the team in a letter to Mr Godlington.
It said: "Wow – what a remarkable accomplishment.
"What you have done is nothing short of extraordinary."

The Prince - who completed two tours of Afghanistan during his 10-year career in he Army - is a global ambassador of the charity Scotty's Little Soldiers, which is one of the organisations the group are raising funds for.
Mr Godlington is also a trustee of the organisation, which supports bereaved military children.
It was set up in 2010 by Nikki Scott, whose husband Lee "Scotty" Scott was killed while serving with the Royal Tank Regiment in Afghanistan in 2009.
She was inspired to create Scotty's Little Soldiers after seeing the positive impact a holiday had on her young son Kai and aims to support more than 1,000 bereaved children and young people by 2030.
Prince Harry's letter went on: "Reaching the top of the world is an immense physical and mental challenge in its own right, but doing it with purpose to honour and support military families elevates this feat to another level entirely. I take my hat off to you all.

"You've pushed the boundaries of human endurance while shining a light on a cause that is deeply important to me, the well-being of our service families, especially children and young people who've experienced loss. For that, I am hugely grateful.
"You've not only conquered Everest, you've brought attention to the sacrifices of our Armed Forces in a way few others could.
"Well done, lads. All the best."
