Shadow Defence Secretary offers 'deep thanks' to all military personnel in Christmas message

The Shadow Defence Secretary has offered his "deep thanks" to all military personnel in his Christmas message to the UK's Armed Forces.

John Healey MP told Forces News the military has "once again… played a vital role in defending us and our allies in keeping us safe at home and abroad".

He also said the work of military personnel covering the public sector strikes over Christmas is "deeply" appreciated.
