British Army Esports beats US military teams to win their first-ever Code Bowl tournament

The British Army Esports team have won the Call of Duty Endowment Code Bowl VII trophy for the first time in their history, beating teams from the United States, Canadian and the UK Armed Forces.
They won the title after beating the US Navy Esports team, who had to settle for second overall, with the US Air Force finishing third.
Other teams representing the UK Armed Forces were also present, with the RAF finishing sixth and the Royal Navy finishing seventh respectively.
The British Army now join the Royal Air Force as the only UK teams to ever win the Code Bowl, with the RAF winning in 2025 and 2022.
Army team member, Gibbo, was awarded the Monster Energy MVP ring, given to the tournament's top competitor based on stats, which includes eliminations, kill/death ratio, placements and clutch plays.
The Code Bowl, which stands for Call of Duty Endowment, is a non-profit organisation founded in 2009 dedicated to helping veterans find high-quality careers and transition to civilian life after military service.
The endowment has now helped up to 169,000 veterans into jobs after military service since its founding.
The competition itself acts as one of its main annual fundraisers and awareness events, bringing military esports teams together in the name of casual, fun and friendly competition.
The results are IN!
