The issues facing forces children in Scotland have been debated at a special conference in Edinburgh.
The Royal Caledonian Educational Trust, which hosted the event, has been looking after the needs of children with military parents for the last 200 years.
It caters for some of the children of the 10,000 service personnel based in Scotland.
