National Memorial Arboretum Set For Major Expansion

The National Memorial Arboretum is set for a major expansion this summer after raising £10 million of the £15m target needed for the work.

It was opened in Staffordshire in 2001 to honour those who've served their country.

It contains over 50,000 trees and 300 memorials, including the Armed Forces Memorial, which remembers all those who've lost their lives in conflict or as a result of terrorism since the end of World War Two.
