Poet Uses Magic Lantern To Tell WWI Stories

World War One veterans who lived to be over 100 years old feature in an exhibition currently running at the Imperial War Museum North in Salford, Manchester.

Using a magic lantern projector, poet Ian Macmillan tells the stories of those who survived the Great War.

They were first introduced in the 1600s - nearly two centuries before the invention of photography.
