Scotland Launches Veterans' Job Opportunities Scheme

A new scheme has been launched in Scotland with the aim of improving job opportunities for veterans and reservists.

The Scottish Veterans Employment and Training Service wants to act as a focal point for employers – allowing them to tap in to military skills and experience.

There are currently 260,000 veterans in Scotland, and 1,800 people leaving the Armed Forces settle in the country every year to start their civilian careers.
