Thrill Seekers To Take Part In Canary Wharf Charity Abseil

Thrill-seekers are being encouraged to take part in a 230-feet abseil down Canary Wharf's 50 Bank Street this Saturday, to raise money for military charity SSAFA.

It's open to anyone over 18 years old and no previous abseiling experience is required, with training provided on the day by fully-qualified instructors.

The only requirement from anyone wishing to participate is a commitment to raise a minimum of £150 sponsorship for SSAFA, which works to provide lifelong support to almost 100,000 present and past members of the Armed Forces and their families each year.

There's an initial £30 registration fee to secure a place, and booking early is advised to avoid disappointment.
