Veterans Care Centre To Open In Northern Ireland
Northern Ireland is to have its first facility dedicated to the rehabilitation of homeless ex-service personnel and those suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.
The Veterans Care Centre will house up to 45 residents at a time and is set to open in County Down.
The hotel building in Newtownards will become Northern Ireland's first residential veterans centre.
It comes after four years of fundraising and petitioning by charity 'Beyond The Battlefield'.
