Lieutenant Sally Stott grabbed her first cap as UKAF beat the French Forces in Portsmouth.
Jon Knighton joined BFBS as a broadcast trainee in March 1986. He worked in Gibraltar, Cyprus, The Falklands, London and Germany with BFBS Radio before joining BFBS TV as a news producer and editor in 1994. He set up the Sports team in 2002, which has now grown to six team members, reflecting the importance of Forces sport.
