British Army end boxing season with exciting night of American action

The British Army boxing team finished off the 2025/26 season with a 4-4 draw against a New York City select team.
The Army travelled to the 'Big Apple' for a night of action to celebrate American Independence Day.
It also served as head coach Sergeant Chez Nihell's final act with the team before Sergeant Liam Jones takes over the reins.

The New York team included a number of top American amateur talents and a back-and-forth competition took place.
The 4-4 draw was an "outstanding evening of competitive boxing" said the Army.
