Members of the RAF Boxing team have come together to complete a 50-hour Christmas fun run to raise money for charity.

Boxers, coaches and officials who are members of RAF Boxing participated in the run where at least one out of 20 participants ran at any given time during the duration of the challenge.

By completing the challenge, which began at 10am on the 20 December and concluded at 12pm on 22 December, they are raising money for the RAF Association, which supports serving RAF personnel, veterans and their dependants on a range of welfare issues.

The challenge, organised by RAF Boxer Aaran Devine, also saw some participants take part who have either gone home for Christmas or who are currently serving oversees in places such as the Falkland Islands and Cyprus.

Their running distances were all tracked and logged using the physical exercise tracking app, Strava.

Those who wish to support the team with a donation to the RAF Association can find their fundraising page here.
