Veteran-written musical depicting frontline life hits Edinburgh Fringe
A musical written by Army veterans about their experiences of serving in the Middle East has hit the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Warriors tells the story of a group of soldiers progressing from basic training to deployment on operation – covering their journey, forging friendships under fire, and those they've left behind at home.
The writers have drawn inspiration from their own lives focusing on themes such as life and death, fear and humour while on deployment, as well as drug taking and sexuality.

The show is enjoying a solid run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, but there are big plans for its future with the veterans behind it, hoping to take it around the country and even to the West End.
