Bank Workers Get A Taste Of Reservist Life
Staff from the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) have been experiencing what it's like to be a reservist in the British Army.
Reserve units gathered at the bank's headquarters in London to show staff the different roles and opportunities of a career in the Reserves.
Reservists make up around a sixth of the armed forces, juggling military commitments with day jobs.

Colonel Stephanie Jackman from 51 Infantry Brigade, said: "It's a real opportunity for our Army Reserves to demonstrate the transferable skills between what they do in their military part-time roles, to what they do in their civilian role because there is a lot of synergy and similarities and both do transfer both ways."
RBS has a gold award in the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme.
John Cramb from RBS Armed Forces Network said: "Reservists are around and they're integral parts within the company, they got an integral part within the defence structure generally."

The day aimed to highlight the role and contribution Reservists make to the Army and give RBS staff an insight into life as a Reserve.
Captain Ian Ross from 6 Scots, said: "As a Reservist, we come from the community, we are part of the community and we have normal jobs within the community so actually being seen and being seen as Reservists is vitally important to us."
