Irish Naval Vessel To Become COVID-19 Testing Centre

An Irish naval vessel has been transformed into a space to test members of the public for coronavirus.
LE Samuel Beckett is currently alongside Dublin city centre, at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay on the Liffey River.
It is part of the Irish Defence Force's support to their health services during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Army engineers provided power and lighting for the vessel, while others set up tents along the quayside.
It is believed that more than 10,000 people in Ireland have now been tested for the virus and there are currently 785 confirmed cases.
